On 6 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended 6 Related Summits: (1) 26th ASEAN – China Summit , (2) 24th ASEAN – Republic of Korea (ROK) Summit, (3) 26th ASEAN – Japan Summit, (4) 26th ASEAN Plus Three (APT), (5) 11th ASEAN – U.S. Summit, and (6) ASEAN – Canada Summit, at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia.
All the 6 Summits reviewed existing cooperation and discussed direction for future cooperation, as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues. The meetings emphasized the need to promote concrete implementation of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP).
