Prime Minister as guest of honor joins Gala Dinner hosted by US-ASEAN Business and USCC

On 20 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister, participated in Gala Dinner hosted in his honour by the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC). The Gala Dinner was also attended by H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as senior representatives of the U.S. government and executives from more than 20 high-profile U.S. companies.
Prime Minister delivered policy remarks, outlining the government’s visions and key economic policies. He also highlighted solid foundation and growth potential of the Thai economy, as well as the government’s priority on proactive economic diplomacy. He stated that the government would focus on issuing progressive stimulus packages for investors while ensuring sustainable and responsible growth. Prime Minister also invited the U.S. business sector to increase trade and investments in Thailand, particularly in targeted industries that complement efforts to rebuild an “Innovative, Inclusive, and Integrated Thailand” or “3Is Thailand”.
