On 6 August 2025, Mr. Bolbongse Vangphaen, Director-General of the Department of ASEAN Affairs, together with Mr. Hahm Jeonghan, Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand, presented awards to the winners of the Reel Competition on “Towards Enhanced ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Partnership in Creative Economy.” The Department of ASEAN Affairs, as the ASEAN-Thailand National Secretariat, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand, organised the Reel Competition on the occasion of the establishment of ASEAN-ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Thailand’s assumption of the Country Coordinatorship during 2024-2027 to encourage the public to learn more about the ASEAN-ROK relations and share their ideas and perspectives on the cooperation.

The winners of the competition are: (1) Mr. Thotsaporn Tuilek, who won the Grand Prize of 10,000 baht in cash and a round-trip Bangkok-Seoul flight ticket, (2) Ms. Pichayapa Aoumboon, who won the 2^nd Prize of 8,000 baht in cash and Galaxy Buds Pro 3, (3) Ms. Jutharat Sawingklang, who won the 3^rd Prize of 5,000 baht in cash and a Tamburins cosmetic gift set, (4) Mr. Chiramet Noimueang and (5) Ms. Rattanaprapa Bualiwan who won the Special Recognition Prize of 3,000 baht in cash each.

The Department of ASEAN Affairs would like to congratulate the five winners and thank all the participants for their contributions to driving forward the ASEAN-ROK cooperation in the creative economy.
