On 12 August 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, the Eminent Person of Thailand for the High-Level Task Force-ASEAN Community's Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV), participated in a high level panel discussion titled "Charting the Local Path to ASEAN 2045: Advancing Regional Visions through Local Action" during the ASEAN Governors and Mayors Forum 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia. He exchanged views on the development of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, emphasized the crucial role of local communities in driving the vision into practice, and offered practical recommendations on supporting local communities to implement the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
