On 26 June 2026, Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, representing the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the 41st ASEAN-Japan Forum in Singapore.

The Forum discussed forward to further advance collaboration in line with the Joint Vision Statement on ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation as well as the preparation for the upcoming ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference (PMC) with Japan.
