On 4 June 2025, the Department of ASEAN Affairs organised an seminar titled “ASEAN 2045: Vision, Opportunities, and Hope/Expectations” as a part of the seminar series on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After the opening remark delivered by H.E. Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the seminar featured 2 sessions comprising the introduction of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and its four Strategic Plans and the exchange of views on the expected future trends and ASEAN's preparations by distinguished panelists from Thailand Institute of Justice, Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), Thammasat University, and Chulalongkorn University. The seminar was attended by more than 150 participants both physically in the auditorium and via online platform.
