Mrs. Chatvadee Chindawongse, Deputy Director-General of the Department of ASEAN Affairs, delivered the opening remarks at the ASEAN-China Cooperation Fund (ACCF) Promotion and ASEAN Project Development Training held at the Pullman King Power Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

The three-day training programme, co-organised by the ASEAN-China Cooperation Fund Management Team (ACCFMT) and the Department of ASEAN Affairs from 1-3 July 2026 in Bangkok, welcomes more than 70 participants from over 30 Thai government agencies and relevant organisations across the three ASEAN Community pillars, namely the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC).

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Thai government agencies and relevant organisations in developing high-quality ASEAN cooperation project proposals while raising awareness of the ASEAN-China Cooperation Fund (ACCF).
In addition, it equipped participants with an understanding of ASEAN funding mechanisms, the guidelines for applying for financial support from the ACCF, and the procedures for developing successful funding proposals.
