On 13 July 2023, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference with China, co-chaired by H.E. Mrs. Retno Marsudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs. DPM/FM Don looked forward to synergies of cooperation between Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and ASEAN Outlook for Indo-Pacific (AOIP) for tangible and mutual benefit, as well as supported China’s readiness sign the Protocol of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (SEANWFZ), and pushed forward further cooperation on sustainable development through promoting food security.
