On 20 December 2019, H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi, Secretary-General of ASEAN, called on H.E. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Transport during his recent visit to Thailand. Both sides discussed priority issues under Thailand’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2019 including (1) land, air and sea transport; (2) public transportation and road safety in ASEAN; (3) support for the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025 (MPAC 2025) and (4) ASEAN’s Smart Cities to ensure seamless connectivity and that no one is left behind.
