During 31 July - 1 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) in Bali, Indonesia, and discussed important issues in preparation for the upcoming 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in September 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia, including ways forward in strengthening ASEAN, as well as developing cooperation between ASEAN and external partners through ASEAN-led mechanisms.
