On 11 July 2023, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the plenary session of the 56th AMM, called for the strengthening of ASEAN's institutional capacity and effectiveness, promoting Indo-Pacific cooperation under the ASEAN Outlook on Indo-Pacific (AOIP), as well as encouraged ‘amity’ and cooperation’ among High Contracting Parties to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
