H.E. General Anantaporn Kanjanarat, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, met with H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi, Secretary General of ASEAN, on 20 December 2018 at the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. Both sides discussed the theme, strategic drivers, deliverables, including the establishment/development of 4 centres, as well as outcome documents during Thailand’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2019, for which H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi expressed his support. H.E. Dato Lim Kock Hoi also emphasised a need to focus on important areas such as humanitarian assistance in response to natural disasters as well as youth and education, especially digital technology and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
