Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN presents Letter of Credence

            On 23 December 2015, H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN presented her Letter of Credence to H.E. Le Luong Minh, Secretary-General of ASEAN, at the ASEAN Secretariat. Also in attendance were H.E. Dr. Lim Hong Hin, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Economic Community, H.E. Vongthep Arthakaivalvatee Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community, and H.E. Dr. AKP Mochtan, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs.

            On this occasion, the Permanent Representative of Thailand reaffirmed that ASEAN remains at the cornerstone of Thailand’s foreign policy, and expressed Thailand’s full commitment to ASEAN Community and beyond, in particular through the realization of the ASEAN Vision 2025 and its Blueprints.  Thailand stands ready to work closely with other ASEAN Member States, ASEAN’s external partners and the ASEAN Secretariat.

            H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks has been appointed as the 4^th Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN by Royal Command of 27 November 2015.Source: ASEAN Secretariat News
