Roving ASEAN 2016, Udonthani Province

            On 3 December, 2015, Mr. Cherdkiat  Atthakorn, Deputy Director – General, and officers from Department of ASEAN Affairs attended the meeting on “Preperation for the ASEAN Community, Udonthani Province” aiming to increase the understanding toward the importance and benefits from the ASEAN Community integration covering all three pillars: ASEAN Political Security Community (APSC), ASEAN Economics Community (AEC), and ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) as well as other progresses such as ASEAN Vision: 2025 at Prajaktra Design Hotel in Udonthani province.

            On the same occasion, the officers visited the ASEAN Study Centre at Udonpittayanukoon School, which serves as a proper learning centre for the community under the concept of the “Spirit of ASEAN”. At the moment, there are 28 schools involving in the project, led by youths who share mutual concerns and objectives toward a connected ASEAN Community. Besides, the officers met with Chairman of Udonthani Chamber of Commerce to exchange thoughts on ASEAN Community and its direction.
