เมื่อวันที่ 25 สิงหาคม 2568 นายพลพงศ์ วังแพน อธิบดีกรมอาเซียน เป็นประธานในพิธีส่งมอบห้องสมุดอาเซียนให้โรงเรียนเดชะปัตตนยานุกูล จังหวัดปัตตานี โดยมีนายชูชีพ ธรรมเพชร รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดปัตตานี นายวุฒิชัย จำปาหวาย รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาปัตตานี นายวันสุกรี แวมามะ นายอำเภอเมืองปัตตานี และนายจำนงค์ แสงหวัง ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนเดชะปัตตนยานุกูล เข้าร่วม

โรงเรียนเดชะปัตตนยานุกูลเป็นโรงเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา มีนักเรียนจำนวน 2,089 คน และเป็นโรงเรียนแห่งที่ 77 หรือแห่งสุดท้ายที่ได้รับมอบห้องสมุดอาเซียนภายใต้โครงการ “1 จังหวัด 1 โรงเรียน 1 ห้องสมุดอาเซียน เพื่อประชาชนและเยาวชนไทย” ทำให้ประเทศไทยมีห้องสมุดอาเซียนครบ 77 จังหวัด ตามเป้าหมายของโครงการฯ ซึ่งได้เริ่มดำเนินการมาตั้งแต่ปี 2557

ในพิธีส่งมอบห้องสมุดอาเซียน โรงเรียนเดชะปัตตนยานุกูลได้จัดให้มีการแสดงวัฒนธรรมโดยนักเรียน และนำเสนอนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับอาเซียนซึ่งจัดแสดงอยู่ภายในห้องสมุดอาเซียน และในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ กรมอาเซียนได้จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความรู้เกี่ยวกับอาเซียนให้แก่น้อง ๆ นักเรียนด้วย

นอกจากนี้ อธิบดีกรมอาเซียนยังได้นำคณะกรมอาเซียนเยี่ยมชมห้องสมุดอาเซียนแห่งที่ 29 ณ โรงเรียนสงขลาวิทยาคม จังหวัดสงขลา ซึ่งได้เปิดใช้อย่างเป็นทางการตั้งแต่วันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2559 และได้รับฟังการบรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับการใช้ประโยชน์จากห้องสมุดอาเซียนของโรงเรียนและชุมชน และแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นกับผู้บริหารโรงเรียน คณาจารย์ และนักเรียนด้วย

On 25 August 2025, Mr.Bolbongse Vangphaen, Director-General of the Department of ASEAN Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presided over the handover ceremony of the ASEAN Library to Dechapattanayanukul School, Pattani Province. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor of Pattani Province, Deputy Director of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Pattani, District Chief of Mueang Pattani and Principal of Dechapattanayanukul School.

Dechapattanayanukul School is a secondary school with 2,089 students and is the 77^th or the final school to receive an ASEAN Library under the project “One Province, One School, One ASEAN Library for the People and Youth of Thailand”. With this milestone, the Department of ASEAN Affairs has completed the establishment of ASEAN Libraries in all 77 provinces of Thailand, a goal pursued since the project’s inception in 2014.

The ceremony featured cultural performances by students, as well as their presentation of ASEAN exhibitions held in the ASEAN Library. On this occasion, the Department of ASEAN Affairs also organised activities to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of ASEAN.

In addition, the Director-General led the delegation to visit the 29^th ASEAN Library at Songkhla Wittayakom School in Songkhla Province, which was officially opened on 15 November 2016. The delegation received a briefing on the utilization of the ASEAN Library by the school and local community, and engaged in exchanges of views with the school’s senior management, teachers, and students.
