At the kind invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, the Leaders of the Member States of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), met in Saudi Arabia on 20 October 2023. The Summit was co-chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, with the participation of Their Majesties, Highnesses and Excellencies, the Leaders of ASEAN and the GCC Member States, ASEAN Secretary-General, and GCC Secretary-General.

Welcoming the accession of all GCC Member States to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
