เมื่อวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2568 นายพลพงศ์ วังแพน อธิบดีกรมอาเซียน เป็นประธานในพิธีส่งมอบห้องสมุดอาเซียนให้โรงเรียนนราธิวาส จังหวัดนราธิวาส โดยมี นายกฤษณนันท์ กำไร รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนราธิวาส นายสุรศักดิ์ เกลี้ยงสะอาด ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษานราธิวาส นายรุสดี ปูรียา นายอำเภอเมืองนราธิวาส และ ดร. อภิวรรณ ยอดมงคล ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนนราธิวาสเข้าร่วมงาน

โรงเรียนนราธิวาส เป็นโรงเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา มีจำนวนนักเรียน 2,337 คน และเป็นโรงเรียนแห่งที่ 76 ที่ได้รับมอบห้องสมุดอาเซียนภายใต้โครงการ “1 จังหวัด 1 โรงเรียน 1 ห้องสมุดอาเซียน เพื่อประชาชนและเยาวชนไทย” ซึ่งเป็นโครงการที่กรมอาเซียน กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้ริเริ่มและดำเนินมาอย่างต่อเนื่องตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2557 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ห้องสมุดอาเซียนเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับอาเซียนที่เข้าถึงได้จริงสำหรับนักเรียน เยาวชน และชุมชนท้องถิ่น รวมถึงเป็นพื้นที่ในการจัดกิจกรรมที่ช่วยเปิดโลกทัศน์ กระตุ้นความสนใจต่อประชาคมอาเซียน และปลูกฝังวัฒนธรรมการเรียนรู้ในระยะยาว

ในพิธีส่งมอบห้องสมุดอาเซียน โรงเรียนนราธิวาสได้จัดให้มีการแสดงวัฒนธรรมโดยนักเรียน และนำเสนอนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอนของโรงเรียน รวมถึงนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับอาเซียนซึ่งจัดแสดงอยู่ภายในห้องสมุดอาเซียน และในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ กรมอาเซียนได้จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความรู้เกี่ยวกับอาเซียนให้แก่น้อง ๆ นักเรียนด้วย

ทั้งนี้ ในปี 2568 กรมอาเซียน กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้ดำเนินการจัดสร้างห้องสมุดอาเซียนจำนวน 3 แห่ง ใน 3 จังหวัด ได้แก่ จังหวัดยะลา จังหวัดนราธิวาส จังหวัดปัตตานี ซึ่งจะทำให้ประเทศไทยมีห้องสมุดอาเซียนครบใน 77 จังหวัดตามเป้าหมายของโครงการฯ

On 19 August 2025, Mr.Bolbongse Vangphaen, Director-General of the Department of ASEAN Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presided over the handover ceremony of the ASEAN Library to Narathiwat School, Narathiwat Province. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor of Narathiwat Province, Director of Secondary Education Service Area Office, Chief District Officer, and Principal of Narathiwat School.Narathiwat School is a secondary school with 2,337 students and is the 76th school to receive an ASEAN Library under the project “One Province, One School, One ASEAN Library for the People and Youth of Thailand.” The Department of ASEAN Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has conducted the project since 2014 with an aim to make ASEAN Libraries a source of ASEAN-related knowledge accessible for students, youth, and local communities in all provinces in Thailand, as well as venues for activities that broaden horizons, foster interest in the ASEAN Community, and cultivate a long-term culture of learning.

The ceremony featured cultural performances and exhibitions presented by the students, highlighting the school’s teaching and learning activities, as well as ASEAN-themed information boards displayed in the ASEAN Library. On this occasion, the Department of ASEAN Affairs also organised activities to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of ASEAN.

In 2025, the Department has established the final 3 ASEAN Libraries in 3 provinces, namely Yala, Narathiwat, and Pattani — completing the project’s goal of having ASEAN Libraries in all 77 provinces of Thailand.
